Hi,

I know that Solo 401K is not subject to UBIT, just want to make sure if Cash Balance Plan subject to UBIT?

After doing some research I found that it is not, I want to double check with the experts.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Nagesh

Hi,

one of my investor would like to invest from his LLC, his question was if he gets negative K1 at the end of the year on his LLC name, can he take the losses on his personal tax returns.

Yesterday I attended a conference in Dallas, there was an eQRP vendor, when I asked the fee, he mentioned the fee will be $3K to open the account, $400/year for maintenance. I thought I would share it here. By the way I do have Solo 401K account.

@Justin Windham, thanks for quick replies. I maintain separate checking accounts in my Solo 401K for the purposes of easily identifying the asset investments like, PreTax 401K, After Tax 401K, Spouse Pretax 401K etc. That is the best way of Identifying and not to mix the asset investments.

Currently the money in After Tax 401K is in a separate checking account, so after filing 1099-R, is it OK to nick name the same account to Roth IRA, right?

Hi Recently I have transferred After Tax 401K to Solo 401K. This is from Fidelity. I checked in Fidelity transfer detials, it says clearly Total Non-Taxable Amount for the line item. My question is, can I convert After Tax 401K  to ROTH IRA in my Solo 401K , if so what is the procedure?
