@Chris Mason My first home is a single family home which I acquired with an FHA loan.

I am looking to purchase my second property and I am looking for the best options available to do so.

Are there any loaning options that will allow me to put 5% down on a small multi family (2-4) that I would also owner occupy?

Hello all ! I bought a SF home about 5 months ago using FHA mortgage. I am getting ready to purchase my next property which will be a small multi family ( 2–4 units). I was wondering what are some good options when it comes to financing the second property?

I know I can't refinance out of my current FHA because I do not yet have 20% equity and preferably I rather not wait a full year.

I am considering purchasing a multifamily property, perhaps a duplex or more. I currently live in Orlando and Orlando does not have a very large pool for multifamily properties. Now I am considering other options such as out of state or other cities in Florida. So I would appreciate any suggestions if anyone knows where I should look or places I should consider?
