Have you looked to see if there are any REI meetings going on in your area? I believe there should be some located in or around Portland. If you do not find one down there please feel free to join the one in Olympia. It is a bit of a drive but you are welcome.

I do know there are investors in the Longview and Kelso areas also.

Thank you very much for your interest in our REI group. This Thursday the 28th is going to be our very first meeting and we will be setting our new schedule at that time. Once we have that established I will make sure that I let you know and you are more than welcome.

I am just finishing reading the book Investing in real estate with no or low money down. I want to do buy and hold for rental properties so my next books that I'm going to be reading will be along those lines.

Across the top of your dashboard there is a tab for education and there are a number of books listed there depending upon what you want to get into whether it is wholesaling, flipping, buy and hold.

The other thing that is good to do is if you listen to the podcast. I find them very interesting and I can listen to them while I'm driving. I love to read the success stories the other investors post. They are very informative. I hope this helps get you started.

Rockwell Institute is the best that I know of if you want to pass your test the first time. After you get done with all your courses be sure and do the cram test at the end. Not only do you have to pay for the schooling but you also have to pay to take your test and you pay to get your license and then you pay to get your fingerprints and your background checks.

Then you will have to find The Brokerage to work with.

I just wanted to let everyone know we have approximately 15 people who have signed up for the Olympia REI group. If you know of anyone that may not have heard about our meeting please let them know and invite them to come.

I noticed in the members column there are a lot more people from Olympia, Shelton, Rochester and surrounding area than the 15 we have signed up now so please feel free to invite them to stop by.

Hello Andrew, Welcome to BP. You have chosen a wonderful site to learn about your real estate investing. If you go to the events tab on BP you will find a list of the events going on or if you go to Meetup they have a list of all different kinds of meetings in your area. We are starting a REI group in Olympia this week. There is also a wonderful list of books that you can read on investing. I'm just finishing the book investing with no money down. How long before you're back in the? I want to thank you for all you do to keep our country safe. I hope you have a wonderful day.
