There's a lot of Ohio responses here. Something to look into first. Ohio is on my list but not at the top. How easy is it to do two deals at the dame time?

Quote from @Shawn Bhatti:

Welcome! My biggest advise is to not fall for lower price tag deals. Try to find ideal markets that offer upside while still being at a more affordable price point than southern California for example.

A few good examples are Columbus Ohio and San Antonio Texas, although you'll have to find particular neighborhoods and micro-neighborhoods to consider in whichever market you are looking at.

Thank you for that. The research is the most tedious part.

Welcome to BP!! As a homeowner, you're already ahead of most people :)

I grew up in CA and moved to Reno, NV to live and invest. I still wanted to be close to family and CA but didn't want to deal with some of what comes along w/ CA.

Hope to connect with you and see you around the forums!

...and there's so much that come w/CA!

Hi All👋 I want to wholesale and buy rental properties. I am looking to buy 4 or more doors rental properties in Texas. I own a home now with $200,000+ in equity. This will turn into a rental when I buy a 2nd. I have 700+ credit scores and two LLC/S-Corp's and veteran certified. I looking for a mentor to help me make deals the right way. Please connect if you can assist.
