Thanks for reaching out.  Excited to here this is a local group here in SB!  
Right now, I am still in learning mode to be honest.  Not totally sure where will be the best options for us to invest in.   I am open to local, admittedly intimidated by the price tags, and also open to markets outside SB or even CA.  

I will reach out about the local meet ups.

Wow thank you so much for all this information! Local events is something I was very interested in, so this was helpful to be pointed to where best to find this on the page.

I am excited to be Jumping back in here and dive into REI and connect with other members here. My wife and I live in Santa Barbara, CA and love spending time outside in this beautiful city.
