@Bruno C. Thanks a lot! I appreciate your feedback. I'll definitely begin looking at properties in my local neighborhood.

Hello,

I'm new to the BiggerPockets community. I'm interested in obtaining Multifamily properties (Duplexes-Quads) in my surrounding area. I've already read a couple books on the subject: as well as, doing some dry searches to help further my understanding of a good and bad deal. For those who have already obtained their own properties. What advice would you give to someone looking to obtain their first investment property? Thanks!
