Hey everyone,

I'm new to real estate investing. I have been reading blogs, articles, books and listening to podcasts on buy and hold investing. I'm planning on attending my first REI meet up in NYC. I'm curious as to the format of these meetings. Is there a speaker component and then networking afterwards?

Thanks,

@Rick K Richardson I am interested in SFHs and small multi-unit properties. I moved to NYC a year ago and have been reading up on buy and hold investing for months now. I'd like to get involved in investing in this area. Count me in.

Hello,

I have been reading up on buy and hold investing for a few months now and it has got me excited to start investing in RE. I plan to purchase my first SFH or small multi-unit property by the end of this year and I'm hoping to meet people in my area who have common interests.

A little bit about myself: I moved to NYC from Toronto about a year ago and I work in M&A consulting at an accounting firm.

Any help to avoid "analysis-paralysis" would be much appreciated!
