Give my friend a call and see if he can help you out with this project. He's a licensed contractor in North San Diego county. He does great work and is very knowledgeable in all areas. He just finished a commercial space for us.

Could be interesting to take a look at different properties throughout SD to see if you could make an air bnb work. Something with separate living quarters for both you and your tenants. I have some people doing it in my area (Inland) and it seems to cover their mortgage at the very least. Too much labor for me to do with my SFR rental, but I think the numbers could work.

Does anyone have any experience with putting a Prefab home on lot In CA. Specifically San Diego.

Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

Excited to be a part of Bigger Pockets. Been listening to the podcasts frequently over the past few months and excited and intrigued to enter this community.

I come from a family of real estate investors. Commercial, Industrial and residential. Always been very excited about real estate, but thought of it as something to do on the side. Now, I'm thinking of how I can make it my full-time job.

I purchased (with the help of my parents) my first property when I was 19, now 25. It was a 250k short sale. This property is now rented and covers all payments/taxes.

Curious about refinancing and taking cash with rates as low as they are. I also do not have a steady job or taxable income. I work for myself and to pay taxes for me now isn't exactly advantageous.
