@Josephine Ramesh

Hey Josephine, right now it’s 0.6%, rates took a nose dive, and you may find higher rates elsewhere, but I enjoy the app and the ease of use.

@Ben Zelenka Hey Ben!

So I use American Express for one of my online savings accounts. I enjoy that and the customer service is great and quick to respond to a phone call. This has most of my savings since it is reliable and established.

I also use a new app called Yotta Savings. It doesn’t have a “fixed” interest rates since it’s more about winning your interest as a “prize” for drawing lucky numbers, the more you deposit the more numbers you can play, increasing chances of winning interest. I’ve only used this for a couple weeks now, and have about 5% of my savings in it, but so far it is a lot of fun and I’d say my interest averages to about 1%, which is pretty good! It is new, but the things I’ve heard and seen so far are good.

Hope this helps!

@Salvatore Lentini analysis paralysis for sure, as well as always telling myself I need more capital. I have been looking into different ways to get some, but so far it has been just research and not actually trying. Also I am “waiting” for a market correction here in Utah that may not come for a while..

@John Underwood that’s definitely true, I saw some interesting articles regarding the laws of the greater SLC area, thanks for the heads up.

@Shelby Pracht this is a great idea, thanks for the suggestion I’ll definitely look into that!

Hello everyone,

I’m looking into renting some properties, and have limited capital for now (about $5,000). I came across an article here on BP that talks about Airbnb Arbitrage. This is when you rent an apartment/property, then put it on Airbnb for profit.

I was wondering if this would be a good strategy for beginners, any help and suggestions will be much appreciated!
