As an investor, I understand we can purchase mult-family homes under 4 units with FHA loans, but it requires you to live in the property as a principal residence for at least one year. Is it possible to purchase mutl-home every two years with FHA loans?

Hi all,

Quick intro - I am a CPA working for big accounting firm in downtown Chicago, spializing large RE clients, REITs, and financial industry clients. Currently study to get the state license exam to become a licensed broker as well.

I am interested in getting to know as much RE investor in this area as possible, share some great ideas, tips and learn from one another. I recently closed on a condo for myself, starting next year, I plan to actively invest in buy and hold properties around Chicago and suburbs.

Nice to meet you all!
