Hello there,

My fiance and I are considering the possibility of relocating to an area that better-suits our career and investment goals. We just completed renovating and selling a live-in-flip property in Orange County, which turned out to be a great success. We are seeking a developing area that is great for young professionals and contains a lower investment floor. Ideally, we would like to purchase a distressed property that we can renovate while acclimating to the new location. Our long-term strategy is to buy & hold SFH's and commercial properties. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Some of the cities that we are considering are: Seattle, Raleigh, Salt Lake City, Scottsdale, Minneapolis, Portland, Atlanta.

Hi,

I am new to the Bigger Pockets community and have purchased in the Orange County area using the "live-in flip" method. The deal was successful. Given how high purchase prices are in California, I am shifting my focus towards purchasing out of state "buy & hold" properties.

I am hoping to use this forum as a means of connecting with like-minded investors in order to learn, interact and develop relationships.
