How would you suggest going about getting a mentor?

Thank you Robin for your kind words and advice!  I will be going to a local meeting Thursday, I cannot wait!

I am not sure where to start, seems like wholesaling might be a good place? I live near Annapolis, MD and have a lot of family in the Roanoke, VA area.
