@jessieboyce I was also wondering the same thing. I will be going to my first REI Meetup in a couple of weeks and I don't want to go without a business card. The dillema is what do I put on the card? I guess I'll find out soon lol

Hi Paul! Thanks for the valuable information. I have read the beginner's guide and will probably read it again. I have also started listening to the Podcast as they are extremely informative!

I will work on attending 3 different REIA club meetings, as I am eager and ready to meet others with like minds and learn as much as I can along the way.

Thank you for the book suggestions. Time to order them so I  can start learning!  I think I will also add to that list Rich Dad Poor Dad as I hear that it's a good book to read.

Thanks for the good advice. I have set up keywords but did not think to set them up for wholesaling my in area, I will do that right away!  Happy to hear that you are in based in LA also, I will definitely reach out to you with questions, as I have lots of them lol

Hi all! I am a new member to the BP family and thus far I have gained a lot of knowledge. I am interested in becoming a Real Estate Investor starting off with wholesaling property in Southern California and eventually moving to wholesaling in other states as well. One of my goals is to become a landlord. I'm looking to gain as much knowledge as I can. Finding a mentor in my area would be phenomenal as I would love to learn the ropes of REI and be of assistance by helping my mentor find deals. I'll see you in the forums.
