What are the best websites that monitor trends in populations and real estate for USA? on local and regional level

Such as: Where are populations moving from and to? Where are prices rising and falling and for which type of properties?

I only use zillow but it only shows trend for individual properties, not for entire areas.

I live in a 3BR 3BA townhouse and I've set the rental price for master bedroom to be higher than the market to see what happens. The most promising contact I got is an employed, college educated, 30yo female with 35lb non-aggressive dog.

I have two concerns:

What complications can be caused by the dog in the near future?

I plan to move out and rent out my bedroom too. How much harder will it be to get a tenant with the dog in the house?

The market price is about $1000, I am charging $1200, plus she is open to pet rent fee which I am planning to be $50, so $1250 total.

Recently I was looking to expand my area of investing (my price range is $100-$150k in Pittsburgh and Richmond, which is on the lower end of spectrum but still has legitimate buying power). I have spoken with two realtors in Pittsburgh, one in Raleigh, and one in Northern Virginia, this one about a $300k condo. All have expressed interest and asked for my contact info to set up an MLS search for me.

None have gotten back to me.

I told them I'm ready to buy, I get to the point, they should be able to tell I'm not here to waste their time.

So what's the deal? Is it common for realtors to not pursue a buyer for no apparent reason? What could be the reason?
