Post: How to remove (pack rat) tenant with a lease?

I have a tenant (California) whom I asked to clear up the garage (he's a pack rat) and to remove his boat.  It was not done.  I have sent him reminders/certified letters regarding these items but he has not cleared up the garage or removed his boat.  How do I get rid of him in the middle of a lease?    Do I have to hire a lawyer to get this done?
