Tripp did you end up finding a realtor that you liked. I live in the San Francisco area and am looking for a good realtor in Spokane as well.

Martin, I would love to talk to you. We are both thinking exactly the same. I am born and raised in Oakland and now live in San Leandro. My wife and I are really thinking about Vallejo as well right near the ferry building because how easy it is to get to the city. Once someone takes Mars island it's over the area will sky rocket. Your 1600-2100 rent seems a little high to me but I might be off. We spent last weekend down in the old downtown area and you can see people are getting those old Victorians and fixing them up, it's still just dead down there. I would love to talk to you over the phone and pick your brain. Please. We have been Looking in Vallejo for a couple months. Have you noticed the one that has been on the market forever for 399000 that is three 2-1 houses all on one lot but it's a total fixer. I would love to talk to you. I am also a plumber and am not looking for any work, I don't have the time but have no problem giving you fee advise.

Mike I have not decide on a niche yet. Syracuse by you seems like a cheap spot with high rents.

Hello BP comrades.  I have been listening to BP for the past four months.  I am a Plumber by trade for the past 19 years and for the past year have moved into the design department with my company in designing the plumbing systems.  I have a good amount of money that I want to start investing in real estate with but where I live in the Bay Area (California) it is tough to do so.  I feel my best bet is to invest out of state with multifamily and have looked at Syracuse, Milwaukee, Columbus and anywhere else where i can create a good amount of cash flow with not a hefty down.  My biggest fear is relying on a reliable property management company.  I would love any advise and look forward to continuing to learn through BP.

Hello Katherine, I live here in the bay area as well.  Born and raised in Oakland and live in San Leandro.  I have been listening to BP for the past four months and am very interested in investing out of state since our area is to dam expensive.  I am most worried about the property management in investing out of state as well and am looking for only multifamily as well.  could you give me any advise with what you do for your properties management.
