Hey everyone

My name is Noah Mehrle. I am a soon to be CWRU Accounting graduate that also has his Ohio Real Estate license. I have been interested in real estate investing for years. I have saved money, read books...just about everything. I want to get my feet wet. The only problem is I am going to school one more year for my Masters. I will have some income, but not enough to qualify for a loan. Connect with me...maybe we can figure something out.

Thanks

Ok so here’s the scenario. Me, my father, and my sister are going 3 ways on a property in Cleveland that my sister is going to live in for 5+ years. So basically a “tenant” we don’t have to worry about. We are currently talking to lawyers about how to structure it. Because my sister has started work yet and doesn’t have paychecks...the mortgage will originally be in my fathers name as an investment property. What are some good local/regional banks to go to about financing.

Thanks

Hello everyone! I just recently got my real estate license and I going to begin helping my sister purchase a property in the Cleveland area. We are going to go half and half on equity. She is looking for a place near downtown (within 5-6 miles) that is either a condo or townhome. Any suggestions/advice?

Thanks in advance

Post: 529 Savings Plan for Down Payment?

Hey! I am thinking of buying a property close to campus for my fifth year and using the FHA 3.5% down payment. My close friends are likely to be my tenants for the first year. My parents still have money saved in a 529 plan for me and I saw that they can use that for mortgage payments, but I am wondering if that can be used for the down payment (if I am still a student at the time).

Thanks

I am currently a soon to be senior at CWRU planning on staying for a fifth year for my masters. I am interested in buying a multi family near campus (within a mile or two) for my fifth year. I realize that I can do the FHA loan. My scenario is that my current lease runs out July 31st, 2020. I am wondering if I find the right property when should I start closing and making real progress on it. Is there anyway to buy the property on a set date through a contract or something?

Let me know

I am currently a soon to be senior at CWRU planning on staying for a fifth year for my masters. I am interested in buying a multi family near campus (within a mile or two) for my fifth year, but my parents are not necessarily going for that idea. I have about 25k that I have save/made from crypto in the past years. I am looking for a partner to go in with me due to my beginner experience/lack to get a loan without income as a student. I am also a little worried if I only stay in the Cleveland area for 2-3 years out of school...then what do I do? I am looking for experienced Cleveland investors that are planning on staying here for a while. Details of the deal/property would be later discussed. Just reaching out now...(don't plan on buying anything until May 2020ish).

I am interested in potentially buying a rental property (duplex) and living in one side of it. I would most likely put 20% down and have the tenant pay the mortgage thereafter. If a year/two, etc. from then, I decide to move cities for another job what are my options? Hire a management company?

Hello everyone:

I am currently a junior Accounting student at Case Western Reserve University. About a year ago, I started becoming really interested in real estate investing by reading books, listening to podcasts, etc. I still have two years left of school (getting my Masters), but I am looking to learn as much as I can before diving deep into real estate investing.

Thanks!
