Post: Need advice for my first house flip

My wife and I just had our first baby and would like to buy a nice house in a good school zone close to family. We moved into her family's house to save money for this house and it will take us roughly 2 years to get a comfortable down payment. I would like to try and speed up the process and do a few flips to raise more capital. We will have roughly $50-$60k in the next few months that we could use to do a flip. The question is would this be enough to flip a house roughly around $250k-$350k with a hard money loan and a light rehab? And would this even be a good idea to raise capital for our primary residence.
@Shawn G. Yes sir I am, can you pm me?
@Tyler Gibson I have heard of them, but they do their meetings on Saturdays and unfortunately with me being a car salesman I don’t get Saturdays off. But I have been looking into CFRI and I probably will join their group soon.
So I have been listening to podcasts, watching countless YouTube videos, reading books, and going through the forums trying to learn as much as I can about real estate investing. I’ve been building my credit and saving as much as I can lately. But now I would love to shadow a real estate investor, or house flipper. I have 2 week days off that I would be able to dedicate my time to learning how the process works and helping out how ever I can instead of just asking for information. So my question is, is there anyone in the orlando area that would let me shadow them?

So I have been watching a couple YouTube videos on hard money loans and how they work but I was wondering is it common or even possible to get a loan for 100% LTV and a credit line to pay for the repairs on a fix and flip? And if so what hard money loan companies do these types and where would I find a hard money loan like this?

Hey I’m a car salesman in central Florida. I want to grow my customer base and build up my clientele. I know this isn’t real estate related but it’s somewhat business related and I see a lot of people networking on here and I’m primarily looking for some tips to generate my own leads.
@Shawn G. Hey, I’m not against door knocking and I would be open to it. Can you tell me a little bit more about you guys and what you buy?
Hey so I’m looking to get my foot in the door with real estate investing and I just got done listening to the BP podcast #386 and I thought if I could become a acquisitions manager under someone who has been doing this for a while it would be a great way for me to learn how to find good deals. I am currently a car salesman so my people skills and closing skills are good. I’m in the Orlando area and if there is anyone near me that would be willing to show me how wholesaling works and needs someone to talk to incoming leads please contact me!
