@Christian Huttema the people are great and there is actually plenty of stuff to do, especially around Fayetteville and Bentonville. If you enjoy fishing, hiking, biking or pretty much anything in the outdoors then you definitely wont be bored. Its a great community and I've been pleasantly surprised by it.

I moved to Northwest Arkansas last summer and bought my first buy and hold rental here a month after. The market is solid and growing, albeit a little slower than previous years. Walmart, J.B. Hunt and Tyson bring in alot of jobs to the area and the University of Arkansas drives higher rental prices in Fayetteville. That being said, I haven't found anything that lives up to the 1% rule so it takes a little creativity to find really good deals but they are out there.

Hello everyone! 

I'm an Ex-NFL athlete (currently a Free Agent) that's looking for the next step after my football career and I think REI will be the perfect fit. Currently living in Dallas but will be moving to Northwest Arkansas in the near future. There's so much I don't know but I think holding rental property is where I want to be. Only time will tell. I'm looking forward to talking to and learning from y'all while growing in this awesome industry.
