Hello Xavier!
Have you read any of the books sold here at the BP store? There are books focused on answering your questions specifically and they are great learning tools!

Hello and welcome @Hui Kiang!
Unfortunately I can't help you with those questions because I don't know the US market. But I'm sure you'll find plenty people who can.
Good luck! I'm sure you'll do well if you stay active in the forum.

Hello and welcome, @Ernie LaRose! Congrats on your experience, both on your business and in real estate.
I plan to buy 2 deals a year as well. BRRRR, right? Did you read "The Book on Rental Property Investing", by Brandon Turner too?

My main goal is financial freedom and all the the good stuff that comes with it.
As an investment I think real estate is probably the one where you have more to say about what's going to happen to your money while at the same time having as good or better returns; I think control is really important.
Also I enjoy knowing that we are improving the quality of life of those around us while making money.

Hello Samuel. I think the banks usually refinance from around 70% to 80% of the market value. But you should ask about the seasoning period in your bank, which is, to my understanding, a period of time that the bank won't mortgage a property that has been recently traded (sold).
