Thank you for your replies.

I'm looking to buy 2 properties (SFHs) to begin with, ranging from $70k- $120k. I'm open to distressed assets that require fixing as well as ones I can buy and rent right away.

In general, I'm looking at the University area and the Cabarrus county, for houses that have been build in the late 90's and after.

I can probably do some research and pick up a few assets on line that fits the above, but since I'm "out of town", I would rather having a RE broker that can guide me through it.

My name is Dan and i’m quite new to RE investing and the website as well. I’ve been reading a lot in the last few months, mainly trying to figure out where will I be investing. This website is awesome and I got a lot of information from just reading the posts of all the members here.

I finally decided Charlotte NC would be the place, though I personally live btw the Israel - NY line these days…

I’m looking to start ASAP, as i’ll be over in Charlotte by the end of the month. I need a RE agent that has experience with out of state investors. I would really appreciate it if you have someone you can recommend.

Hi all,

I'm quite new to investing. I have been doing some courses and reading a lot in the last few months. I'm now fixed on Charlotte as my destination for my first property and i'm looking for a real estate agent that is familiar with investors that are not local (I live on the line btw Israel -> NY these days ...). Anyone knows someone they can recommend?
