Hi @Paul Robnett- I recently used Zillow Rental Manager to rent out a few of my units. They have an in-house background check and I really liked it! I think that there are lots of good remote/online ways to screen tenants. A lot of my clients who own properties out of state do everything online and really like it. This, as many other parts of real estate are up to your preference. Good luck!

Hi @Punitkumar Patel- Welcome to the community! It is wonderful that you are looking to acquire additional knowledge and delve deeper into the wonderful world of real estate! In order to give you the best advice I would need to know if there are certain neighborhood classes that you would like to invest in and what your end goal is. I always recommend for people to go to local meet ups to get more education as well as the Bigger Pockets podcast and the variety of books that Bigger Pockets offers as a start. Good luck! If you need anything further do not hesitate to reach out!

Hi @Hossam Mohamed- this definitely does narrow down potential renters and buyers in a future selling situation. However, I always like to point out to clients of mine in your situation that you can do some research to see if one bedroom rental listings in the area that you are looking to purchase are sitting for longer before getting rented. Or same for one bedroom listings. Ultimately, there is typically still a market for these types of properties or they would all be sitting vacant! I would recommend you do some research, though. Good luck!

Hi @Elliot Mould- I love that you are also an investment focused agent! I work with many clients who are not local. I am currently licensed in Chicago and Colorado and would love to connect further to see how I can help you to meet your goals. I was an investor before I became an agent so I know how difficult it can be to find investor focused teams. Happy to help however I can!

Hi @Kyle Thomas- this is a great question! It would depend on what other things you are able to bring to the table that are valuable. I generally recommend that unless you are wanting to pursue a real estate agent career it typically is not worth getting your license. As, you can have a responsive agent help with having access to the MLS. As with everything, there is a learning curve and may not be the best use of your time if you are not trying to pursue a career. I have my license in Colorado and the test was significantly more difficult than the Illinois one, this is just my opinion, but I did need to spend time studying and money on studying tools. As well as money on getting the actual license. Good luck! I am happy to help you with anything if you need it.
