Believe it or not, I love wholesaling the bad neighborhoods deals because the end buyer will get a property so cheap fix it up, and still make a killing' using section 8 rentals.

Just know that the market is very competitive and like many others whom have chimed in, you have far less competition in Broward and far more inventory in that price bracket.

Great insight Edgar, I'm a newbie and was looking to get my feet wet in wholesaling out of Miami and I'm definitely going to look into Broward County after reading what you had to add. Thanks for the heads up!

First of all, thank you BP for all the invaluable information that the forums provide on every aspect of Real estate. I'm a newbie and still trying to figure out my angle into the game of investing. I am seeking buyers in the Miami area to connect with and learn from. I'm interested in knowing how to know if I have a good deal or not and if so, are you willing to invest! Any mentors out there?

I'm also in the Miami area and competition does seem strong. I'm interested in wholesaling houses but it has been proven to be more difficult than I thought. I read an interesting post on driving for dollars and I think so far that it's the best way to plant the seeds necessary to succeed in wholesales.
