What happens to the initial loan?

How does it get paid off once every thing is said and done? 

Hello I’m extremely new to this space and idea. I’ve been doing research for a few months and decided this is something that I would like to get into. I’m interested in learning from the beginning to end. I understand the idea and love it! I’d like to understand the finer details of this business and all the surprises of what could pop up mostly expenses that might not be so obvious in the process as well as the finance side like how you pay off loans you take out to acquire the property or how you pay partners who invest with you
