Oh, and I love Vegas too, so I don't mind people discussing that here - although it is off topic.
BTW how can I change the name? I guess I signed up here several years ago originally (or did it just use the name from the card?), but since got married :)

Not strictly, but mainly. I like to start out with the idea of buy and hold and then if there is a reason to sell and it brings a nice profit, then fine :) I am selling at least 2 of the properties in the next 6 months - just to buy other ones. I guess I am getting spoiled by the current climate and CAP rates and starting to dump the first ones which are less profitable (mostly outside of the US).
I love poker lol. I am still running an online poker school in Hungary :) And I still play online when I can. I used to live from online cash games and then invested the money in real estate. Used to be an Everest Poker pro, played - among others - the WSOP Main Event a couple of times and the EPT Final once. Live tourneys are a lot of fun! (Anyone interested in staking for the WSOP? lol)

However, I am just at the point where I am pretty confident in choosing my PM company to make it easy. US is usually the easiest.

Hi,
I started investing in real estate without knowing anything about it. Then when I already had 3-4 properties, I realized that I am actually a real estate investor now, so better learn how to do it right.
I educated myself and now I am focusing on the US. I own two properties in Nevada but I would like to get into the multi-family homes.
My goal on BP is to network, gain valuable information and hopefully find JV partners (who have funds to invest) and/or investors who are interested in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson.

I heard that as a Canadian tax payer I am best off with a combination of a Canadian and US entity, does anyone have any advice on what structure to use? Thank you.
