Post: Turnkey Podcast Episode

About a year (or so) ago there was a BiggerPockets podcast that featured a lady who interviewed a ridiculous number of turnkey RE companies (20+). Does anyone know what podcast that might be? I tried looking through the show notes of several that I thought it might be, but can’t seem to find it.

Hi Denise,

I am thinking of doing the same thing with my current home. We actually tried to sell our home to tap into the equity, and we had a buyer under contract for $200k... unfortunately we didn't appraise well (appraisal came in at $170k for whatever reason) and so the sale fell through. I think we've decided to try to house hack/live-in flip our next home and rent out this one to hopefully offset the future home's mortgage.

Here are some are the factors I'm considering if we rent this one out:

1) Will it cashflow? (even marginally as this would be our first "deal")

2) What do other rentals in our area look like and what improvements do I need to make to get the best rental rates & tenants?

3) Who would I use to manage the property? Or would I self-manage (if living closely enough)?

Not sure if that helps, but hope you can glean something from our experience =D
