@Andrew Hogan

Starting out, I’d say buying a duplex is most realistic given my biggest constraint currently is cash.

100% looking to transition to full time within 5 years. The goal would be to invest on the side for a bit while i ‘earn my stripes’ and gains proof of concept. Once I have proof of concept and a strong track record, I hope to raise money money and take the plunge.

Hello everybody!

I'm based in NYC, but I'm looking to begin investing in multifamily in South East Florida due to family ties (Miami up to West Palm Beach, but looking specifically at Fort Lauderdale, Pampano, Delray, Deerfield, Lighthouse Point).  Have a RE investment banking background but new to the investing game and Bigger Pockets - hoping to network with investors in the area, PMs and lenders! Please feel free to DM me!!!
