Good on you for looking at investing in the USA. I have been in Ohio for almost two years and I am glad I made the switch. I can recommend @Michal Liviatan Carpenter and her team my first deal was with them. I also recommend using a investor agent as well. Best of Luck. 

 This isn't a bad practice at all. Rates, Terms and Fees vary greatly so it is a smart move to know your options.

Two close friends of mine need help in the Orlando area. They are immigrating to Orlando area from Canada and are looking to rent a property for a minimum of a year.  They are business owners who are opening a martial arts studio. Does anyone know of a good agent in the area that can help them find a rental? They want to buy a property after their first year in the USA. They are looking to lease the property for December 1st. Thank-You so Much!  

Investing out of state or country without a property manager is a huge mistake. Having a boots on the ground presence is imperative to success when it comes to distance investing. 

 You're welcome Malcolm. Get a US Bank Account set up also. I am with RBC and you can set one up with them. It is a seamless process.
