I am interested in purchasing a townhome that was listed by Fannie Mae in 2012 and didn't sell. It is still vacant  but considered inactive. I have tried to contact the bank that owns the property, MetLife N.A. but have had no success. I contacted the original listing agent and was told that she had no idea when it was coming back on the market or if it was coming back on the market. Anyone have any idea what else I can do? What happens when Fannie Mae properties don't sell.
