I don't know if this helps but when I went to purchase a MFH a few months ago and tried to use my unsecured line of credit as the source of my down payment it was not acceptable. I called around to several banks and each one said the same thing, they could not accept an unsecured LOC as a down payment.

My question is will these issues be removed from the title once the auction is complete?

Hi folks! I'm Peter, I'm from Attleboro MA. I'm a software architect, I have always been excited by the prospect of real estate investing but never knew exactly how to start. I have been reading everything I can get my hands on and I'm very excited to get started. In the process of learning about real estate investing, I found BiggerPockets.com, what a phenomenal resource this website has been to me. Following numerous members advice I'm planning on attending my first RIREIG meeting on the 17th to hopefully meet some great folks in the industry. Finally, my immediate goal is to purchase a 2-4 unit multifamily rental in Providence, RI in the near future.
