It will definitely be a savings for our home office since we wont have to hire an experienced property manager here at the home office. Now we can hire a part time office manager instead.  We offered a 10% increase and she asked for 14% and we are going to offer the 14% increase she asked for or a salary which would give her more than the 14% plus estimated overtime. I think its going to work out ok. Thanks for you input.

We are transitioning management of about 90 doors from our home office to one of our local apartment property managers. She is currently managing 104 unit apartment complex. These new doors will obviously be an additional work load but well within her capabilities. I am trying to determine how much of a pay increase percentage wise to offer her. Any input would be helpful. Thanks.

We recently took over management of properties, mostly single family and few duplexes, quadplexes. Many of these tenants have lived in the properties for more than a decade. We are trying to come up with some strategies to ensuring everyone over 18 has had a background check and that there aren't any unauthorized occupants.
