So ive been dragging my feet to get My real eastate company off the ground. Ive looked at a few properties but im worried about the risk of buying it in my personal name first. Or should i get an llc formed first? ive been told both ways. My dad has a good bit of properties and mentioned i could just buy one and add it to that portfolio but i think id rather do my own for my kids. Whats your opinion,

Second question. How solid is legal zoom llc's in real estate?

Born and Raised in Birmingham, Al. My father is a serial entrepreneur and Has a vast portfolio of Buy and hold properties. I have helped in the search, the rehab, the maintenace portions of them. So i have peaked my interest from those experiences. Part of me wants to flip homes, but i think buy and hold will be where i build up to that.
