I’m open to a regional market . But specifically if I had to chose it would be atlanta only because I currently reside here . However I understand that it’s very competitive at the moment.

@Quinten Tolar, just to piggy back off of what Michael was saying, there have already been some crack downs.  From my understanding they put multiple requirements in place to own an Airbnb in the city limits.  These include having a primary residence in city limits, getting permits, and only being allowed a limited amount of STRs.  Also with the economy turning right now I would be very careful getting into STRs that do not also cash flow as a long term rental, or are in a heavy traffic vacation area such as Blue Ridge, Helen etc.  I hope all of this helps!

Wanting to raise money and purchase a multi - family property. Would Airbnb be a great strategy to use ? Especially since the atlanta area is a hotspot right now for Airbnb?
