Newbies welcome?

Hi, newbie here. One of the things I'm uncertain about is whether or not I should pay off personal debts before making investments. For example, in about 1 year both my car loan and student loan will be paid off. Would it put me in a stronger position to wait to buy property? I'm not sure how much personal debts matter since I see a lot of people recommending investing under a LLC. Any insight here would be great!

That’s a good tip, I can be an over analyzer for sure. My first investment will be a single family rental (acquiring a home from a family member, so not a large amount of money coming out of my pocket upfront). With some experience I’d like to take on more rentals and scale up to multi family. I see lots of horror stories in these investing groups but I’m going to continue to float around with an aire of cautious optimism 😅
