Quick question, we purchased our first mortgage foreclosure property in a sheriff sale in suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. This is a judicial foreclosure. We just got the sheriff deed and it looks like no one has been living in that property from the last three months. We don't know if there are any belongings in the house. However, we can see a car outside and through neighbors we found out the previous owner's is sick and in a nursing home. Can we go ahead and change the locks? Response is much appreciated, thank you in advance.

We are looking at a property in Sheriff sale auction on which there are two mortgages. The second mortgage bank is trying to foreclose. As part of the judicial foreclosure, they included the first mortgage bank and served notices about the case. But, the first bank never answered. Court gave judgement in favor of the second mortgage bank allowing them to foreclose. Can the first mortgage bank ever back and claim interest in the property?
