We were considering purchasing our forever home now to take advantage of low rates.  We own land and rentals in the area we would be moving back to.  Houses and land in that area are at a peak price right now.  I have watched numerous speakers predicting a crash in 2021. We are probably a couple of years from retirement.  I have 85% equity in the house I live in. I am also debating when to sell this house. Should I wait to see what happens in 2021?

I began investing in rental properties about  5 years ago.  My 403B investments (variable annuities) are not doing anything special.  I attended a seminar on fixed index annuities recently and would like to hear input on: 1) investing more money in rentals vs. my 403B  2) putting my money in a fixed index annuity vs. variable or 3) investing more money vs. fixed index annuity

My wife and I are both teachers and we have been involved in real estate for about 4 years.  Our 403B investments through our work are making much money.  We are considering reducing our contributions and putting away cash for future real estate deals.  Do you think this is a good plan?
