You have heard correctly that there are now expanded options for DSCR Loans that have extended some programs into the commercial lending space. I have a few loan programs that could potentially meet your needs, depending on the property and leasing structure. DM me for more information.

As others have mentioned above, it comes down to the Lender's willingness to take on the layered structure as a part of their portfolio. Your current lender may be willing to make an exception to their program guidelines if ownership is well documented.  If you need a second option or a lender who is willing to work with the structure you currently have, I may be able to help. Another thing to note that others have not seemed to cover is whether this rental is a short-term rental, such as an Airbnb, or a long-term lease; both can fit into DSCR programs, but may have to go through different lenders. If you need someone to chat with about options, I would love to talk.
