Post: Registration a property under LLC

Hello Matt,

Thank you for responding to my questions. I guess I wasn't so clear, we are about to buy our first property and we're going to fond the purchase by using our relative's HELOC- Home Equity Line of Credit.

We thought it will be better to register the property under LLC and not under our names since we might want to use FHA loan for purchasing another property in the future.

We are trying to understand if it's possible to sign a purchasing contract as an individual but register the title under LLC ?

Thank you so much for your help,

Revital

Hello BP!

Finally, and after months of trying and thinking how to invest in this expensive part of California, we're about to buy our first investment property! We'll use HELOC for financing and eventually we'd like to register the property under a LLC.

Since it's our first house we prefer not to loose the benefits of the FHA loans and therefor thought it might be better to buy it through the LLC. What would you do?

2nd question: Is it possible to sign a contract as an individual register the title under a LLC?

Thank you for all the support and the motivation. We managed to find a way to start to invest- thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.

Hello,

I would appreciate any recommendations for licensed general contractors for a rehab project in the Oakland CA.

I'm so pleased to have found Bigger-Pockets, it is such a wonderful community which motivates and educates me.

Thank you!
