Student loan interest rates are fairly low. We are in a similar position right now, but my goal is to find a great ROI in my first fourplex. Use that $10k towards your down payment. Pay off your loans with the end-of-month proceeds after expenses.

Hey folks,

I've set the goal of purchasing my first Duplex/MFH by the end of the year. Ideally, between Brunswick and Freeport. I'm 31, in marketing, have a finance degree and can do finished carpentry.

I'm interested in a few things:

1) Meeting Maine investors over coffee/beer (on me)

2) Assistance in finding undervalued properties

3) Talking to seasoned investors who have tips on financing properties with limited cash

4) Possibly partnering on any deals (general labor, marketing, carpentry)

Look forward to chatting,

Rhon
