Yes maam, 1st time dealing with a tax property and was totally ignorant to a lot of things....boy is it stressful and costing me..

Denise Evans yes maam, what would have given me legal procession? Even though the taxes hadn't been paid in almost 3 years and the home was open and the city had been leaving notices with no response .

and even when we notified her, she still didn't pay them.

I paid the taxes on a property that had been vacant for 3 years. The property was open to the public and homeless had started living in it. The city opened an investigation on this home in 2018, deeming the home to be a nurse and ordered for it to be torn down. Per the city, they had been visiting this home for almost 3 years and they documented each time, with pictures showing it was vacant and open to the public. 

After purchasing the taxes Dec 2019 asking what were their intentions,   we notified the family,  the original owner is deceased,  1 of his daughters stated she's going to pay them and not touch the home.  3 to 4 months later she still had not, so we began, cleaning and repairing.  

We're now in court, the daughter disputing in paying for any of the repairs we've done. Her attorneys closing statement now is, once we were served by courts that the original owners wanted to redeem the property,  we should've ceased all work and should not be compensated...were in the state of Alabama...please advise?????
