Looking for info on anyones personal experiences with 1031 exchanges.  Also anyone who can recommend a Qualified Intermediary in Los Angeles County.  My property is in the South Bay area.

Hey Jason, definitely wish you all the luck in your journey.  I read all the great advice and information from other BP members. Remember to check out any of the areas thoroughly.  Investing in California can be tough(expensive), especially just starting out. Something you find that checks all your boxes on paper, may be an area that would not be desirable(unsafe).  I have found  many times where I get excited when I have found a property that looked good on paper, then when I checked out the area, I realize why it was such a good deal.  Educate yourself on the areas the best you can.  Remember... location, location, location. Good luck!

Lifetime in Torrance and somewhat familiar to that area. You get the Torrance address, but that’s it. The property actually sits in the Los Angeles County strip. No Torrance services...Police, Fire, water, trash, etc. very rough area...gangs. I would identify the area as a D neighborhood.
