Here's an update to my daughters dilemma. They are getting a divorce I'm learning. Why the mortgage hasn't been paid for 3 months is beyond me. He makes good money. Of course they don't want to tell me everything. She wants to sell and he doesn't.

Before I forget I want to everyone who responded to my daughters dilemma. There is an advocate here in town who will help. I myself would choose do a short sale. If the advocate can't help them with negotiations they will be forced to sell, or face foreclosure.

My daughter and son in law are under water with their home. They can't get any help. Does anyone have an answer for this dilemma. They purchased the home in 2006 for 170,000 with a arms interest rate. Ten years later they are worse off than when they bought the home. They need to get out before they face foreclosure. Help!
