Why work at BrightLeaf? We can offer an engaging work environment where you can look to build a career rather than simply just hold a job. There is a VERY large opportunity for growth at our company. We promote an unexpectedly fun atmosphere with challenging and fulfilling work that sometimes feels more like a tech startup than a homebuilding company. If you’re self motivated, interested in continually learning and growing, and don’t want to sit in a cubicle from 9-5, then this might be your ideal position. If you currently work as a Realtor, but are tired of the traditional real estate industry hustle and the commission chase, this may be a good fit for you too.

What we’ll do for you

  • Hire you into a full time salaried position
  • Compensate you for performance that grows both you and the company
  • Reimburse you for business use of your personal vehicle and mobile phone
  • Provide you paid vacation and holiday pay

Interested? Here is what we need you to do

  • Check out our website and Facebook page so you know more about us, what we do, and why we do it.
  • Send us an email with a PDF resume, salary history, and a little blurb on why you are interested in this position at BrightLeaf to [email protected].

@Mark Creason  , it’s not bad. We focus more on infill sites that are in areas along major transit corridors (suburbs along the metra line) that are pretty well established and the markets are already pretty strong. We currently have projects in Brookfield, LaGrange, LaGrange Park, and Forest Park.

@Brie Schmidt  thanks for the info and thanks for the invite, I’ll try to check it out sometime. By the way, I listened to the BP Podcast you were featured on the other day; Good stuff!  Although my partners and I are currently focusing on single family home construction and flips, we eventually plan on getting into multi family units and some buy and holds.

Thank you for the warm welcome.  Have you attended any meetings from any of the local REIAs such as CAREIA or CCIA? I wanted to start doing some networking (besides BP) and I was wondering if these were a good place to start.

Hello Bigger Pockets people! I am a developer/real estate investor that operates predominately in the Chicago Suburbs. My partners and I are currently focusing on fix and flips, new construction spec homes, and custom built homes for clients.

I have been listening to the BP podcasts for a couple months and finally got around to digging through the website and forums. It seems like there’s some solid content here and I figured I’d make my long overdue introduction to the community. Like I put in my profile, I’m always looking to expand my network and meet fellow realtors, investors, and lenders.

I’m looking forward to the many networking opportunities this site has to offer as well as learning from other members. I’m always more than happy to share any knowledge I’ve accumulated throughout my career as well.
