Post: Interested Advertisement...has anybody done this yet?

I received an interesting advertisement in the mail. Rather than coming in a sealed envelope, you get the full piece of paper directly in the mail. Nothing to open or seal. It caught my attention because I haven't seen many companies doing this, and it forces the recipient to read the message right away. I think something like this would work great for investors.

The big question is - does anyone know how to do this? I've attached pictures of both sides for a reference.

Post: Unsubscribe Option on Letters?

Just finished my first direct marketing campaign based on a lot of advice from this group - thanks for all of the great tips!

As I'm sure most of you know all too well, there were more than a few angry phone calls asking to be taken off the list for future mailings.

My question to you is - how do you think something like an unsubscribe option would be received? Something like this in smaller text at the bottom of the page:

"I apologize if this letter isn't of interest of you. If you text your address + 'unsubscribe' to the phone number listed, I'll be sure never to mail you again. Thanks for understanding."

Does this make it TOO easy to unsubscribe (i.e. taking someone off the list that may be more receptive after 3-5 mailings?) What are your thoughts?
