I bought my first property back in July (2-family). Just curious would you use equity loan/line of credit to put a down payment on the next one or wait until I have enough cash for the down payment?

I just bought my first 2 family in Mass that I will be occupying and renting out the other. Just curious what is typical needed to buy my next 2 family? Is 20% the general down payment? Trying to see how I can get the next one with as less money down as possible

I’m looking to build on land I already own. Taunton, MA, 02780.
Looking at doing a 10 unit apt building. 17 BR & 10b baths is my plan.

Just looking at what ball park numbers would be for utilities.

Not including electric & heat/gas as I’d have tenant pay for that

Hey BP! Currently have a 2700 sq ft 2 story duplex in Taunton, MA. The whole lot I own is 1.45 acres of land. Curious from you guys’ experience how many apartment units I’d be able to do for this 1 building & ball park pricing range... Thanks!!
