I have a cabin in North Carolina, I have been using a company that does the booking for me. They put it out to all the big sites and adjust the price according to the market. I've had it with them for the past 2 months with almost zero vacancy. I hire my own guy to come in and clean. Maybe you could try that for a few months till at least spring

Hi Will, I'm a Junior, so My Dad named me after himself. Hopefully I've made him proud to have named me the same.

I had my first renter  book the weekend after it became available and it's had someone in every weekend since. Not many stay for the full week, but I believe that is because we didn't have it available in the spring when people are planning their summer vacations. We'll see next year. I also connect with everyone that stays, to give recommendations for the type of vacation they're looking for. After all when I built the place, I was there to do tourist things. It's worked so far. Now I'm looking to buy another place that's near a beach, maybe near Hilton Head.

It's in the mountains, which is personally appealing. I can go visit when its not booked

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

I had a local agent search for me and gave them a price and didn't backdown

How did you finance this deal?

Cash and small refinance loan

How did you add value to the deal?

bought the land and built and designed the cabin

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

I worked with Joy at Vista Realty on this deal and 3 others in the area

I'm looking to learn as much as I can. The deals I've been involved in assisting other buyers in the rehab and rent side.

I'm looking to get into the buy and flip, but I also work in the retail side of the market.

My name is Robert and I'm new to the Bigger Pockets Forum. I'm an agent in the Atlanta and North Georgia Market. I'm looking for personal opportunities for myself and clients. I've lived in Atlanta since 1998 and before that I went to college and started my career in Mechanical Engineering.
