My wife and I are looking to get started in rental property investing, and we’re hoping to find a mentor who can guide us along the way. We’re committed, eager to learn, and looking for consistent mentorship to help us navigate the process. From finding the right properties to understanding the ins and outs of property management, we want to make sure we build a strong foundation.

If anyone here is open to mentoring, or if you have any recommendations on how to find someone who can, we would truly appreciate it. We're looking for someone who is willing to share their knowledge and offer support as we take our first steps.

Good afternoon @Jennifer Mullen, how did building the duplex go for you? My wife and I (newly weds) are new to real estate investing, and we're looking to build a duplex (here in Jacksonville, FL), occupy one unit, and rent the other out? We're not exactly sure where to start though... Would you happen to have any pointers?
