Thanks for the warm welcome everybody! I certainly look forward to following up with ya'll (working on my southern contractions already ;) I'll be keeping active in the forums as I have a few questions written down already to ask. I've been waiting since college to join the REI world so I'm very excited!

Good morning BiggerPockets!

I don't remember how I stumbled on to this website but I sure am glad that I did. The resources available here are excellent and I am really enjoying the atmosphere and content.

I'm a 24-year-old husband and father. My wife and I both graduated from a BSN nursing program in May of 2013, were married in June, and started working the end of June. April of 2015 we became debt free by paying off our Rav4. We have payed off $51,000 and had a baby right in the middle of it all! We're loving life and are excited for the next chapter.  This fall our little family will be moving from Maine to Greenville, South Carolina.  I'll be taking a travel assignment first (13-weeks), so that we can feel out the area and determine if that is where God would have us to live. After doing quite a bit of research and reading multiple articles/blog posts on BP we have decided that purchasing a duplex is the best route for our financial goals!

I'm really looking forward to connecting with you all and learning from your experiences. Hoepfully I can get to the point where I am contributing experiences and knowledge too. If anyone has any advice, tips, or suggestions please don't hesitate to share!
