I think the best place to start is by connecting with a wholesaler/investor in your area that you can work with. They will help you get started and tell you what they are looking for.

Hi everyone, I'm Ruth I currently live in Buffalo, Ny and I'm trying to start investing with my dad and sister. I have know about biggerpockets for a while now and have technically been "apart" of the community for a couple years... I just graduated from RIT in Rochester, NY with a Civil Engineering degree and I really want to grow and scale our investing business.
I'm looking forward to actually being apart of the community and speaking and learning from all of you.
