What market are you looking to get into?

Ive learned that Real estate is very unique to market trends but equally to specific areas of the country, and your intended purpose both short and long term. Although I cant give you specific/realtor advice, I can give you advice based on my experiences both as a investor, contractor and veteran. Wishing you the best on your venture and happy to hear about your interest in using the VA loan to purchase an investment. Its one of the best perks to being a service member.

My wife Nikki and I own a demolition and junk removal business based in Conroe, Texas. We've always had a passion for real estate, and through our business, we occasionally come across great opportunities for investment properties. We’re thinking of starting with wholesaling as a way to get our feet wet and then growing into other areas of real estate investing from there.

We currently have a rental property outside of Denver, Colorado — it was our first home that we fixed up and rented out when we moved to Texas. We now own a home here in Texas and are actively looking for an investment property we can use as a short-term rental.
